The fee encompasses travel and accommodation, and coaching and support.

The fee is variable and dependant on the location of the Feis, and split between the families attending.

REFUNDS

There are no refunds for a dancer who chooses to discontinue mid-term.

If a dancer is injured for a lengthy period of time, considerations for refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis.

MEDIA RELEASE

During the dance year, pictures and videos are taken of ZCA dancers for in-house use and or marketing purposes.

These pictures and videos may be used in combination with dance school brochures, website or other media without financial compensation.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Dancers and parents are asked to take careful consideration when posting to social media accounts and refrain from commenting on public forums in a manner that could discredit ZCA or the Irish dance community in general.

We hold our dancers in high esteem, and make every effort to promote our academy accordingly.

Competitions have highs and lows, and comments such as “not the results we had hoped” reflect poorly on our program. We focus on the positives of our dancers, and ask parents and dancers to reciprocate this outlook.

DANCER CODE OF CONDUCT

Dancers must be respectful of their instructors and fellow students at all times, both in and outside of class.

Dancers are expected to support one another at competitions and shows. A kind word however small, can be truly up-lifting.

Dancers must respect the direction and decisions of their instructor.

Regular attendance and punctuality are imperative. Dancers are expected to arrive with plenty of time to prepare as classes start at the times listed.

Dancers are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship at competitions, and take pride in representing ZCA.

COSTUMING

All aspects of costuming for performance or competition, must be approved by Zeph Caissie before they are purchased.

COMPETITIONS

Families may enter any Feis they wish. Be sure to double check current dance levels.

Major competition entries (Oireachtas, Nationals, All Irelands, Worlds) are submitted by the teacher.

It is the responsibility of dancer/parent to notify Zeph Caissie if they wish to be entered in a Major.

Throughout the dance year, classes may be cancelled due to the teacher attending competitions. We will endeavour to schedule make-up classes whenever possible.
