Maeve Quinn

Hi! My name is Maeve. I started dancing with Zeph Caissie when I was 4 ½ after my mom who was also a competitive Irish dancer encouraged me to give it a try. Eleven years later, dance has become such a huge part of my life. It’s taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and always pushing myself to improve.

Irish dance has even made me a stronger soccer player, and soccer has been great cross-training for dance. I also love working with younger dancers. It’s so rewarding to share something I’m passionate about while learning patience and leadership along the way.

Since reaching the Open Championship level, I’ve had the chance to compete at the Eastern Canadian Oireachtas and the North American Irish Dance Championships. One of my biggest highlights so far was recalling at the Oireachtas such an amazing feeling!

I love the challenge of learning new choreography and focusing on improving my technique. But beyond competitions, what I’m most grateful for are the friendships I’ve made, the unique performances I’ve been part of, and the chance to travel and dance alongside some of the best dancers out there.
