Zeph Caissie, T.C.R.G.
Zeph Caissie began Irish dancing at the age of 4 with the Tony Comerford School of Irish Dance in Vancouver, Canada.
Zeph garnered many top international placements, including 2nd at the Great Britains, 2nd at the All Irelands, 3rd at the North Americans, and 4th at the World Irish Dance Championships.
While attending University in Vancouver, Zeph was offered a contract to perform with Riverdance - The Show. He accepted, and toured with the company for 9 years at a multitude of prestigious venues including Radio City Music Hall in New York, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the Palais Omnisport in Paris, The Great People’s Hall in China, The International Forum in Tokyo, and Riverdance - On Broadway for a 9 month run at the Gershwin Theatre in New York.
Zeph attained his teaching certification (T.C.R.G.) from An Coimisiún le Rinci Gaelacha, and in 2010, relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia to open Diaga Irish Dance. Zeph directed the school for 15 years, producing a multitude of champion dancers, choreographed for the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, Celtic Colours International Festival with the Chieftains, and represented Canada with a troupe of dancers at the Hamburg Polizeishow.
Zeph is the first and only teacher from Atlantic Canada to have a student win a recall medal at the World Irish Dancing Championships, and place on the podium at the North American Irish Dancing Championships.
Zeph established ZCA in 2025, a continuation of his legacy in Irish dance.
